South Shore Dog Training Club, Inc.

South Shore Dog Training Club, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the training of all breeds of dogs as companions and for Obedience and Breed competitions. Established in1944, the SSDTC provides excellence in obedience training to both members and non-members.

Our instructors have earned many titles in a variety of dog activities and competitions. The club offers several rings of instruction.

We Teach You to Train Your Dog

Breed Handling for the Conformation Show Ring

Obedience Training

Open and Utility from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Novice including Rally exercises from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Beginner Classes

6 weeks from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Puppy Preschool

6 weeks from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Ages 8 to 20 weeks

Canine Good Citizen Tests

Available monthly

A sign-up sheet will be available

Participants are to bring their own brush and proof of rabies vaccination
